So what do they say it is due to?

Since you tell us nothing about your operator or contract it's just a guessing game for us. Indeed I don't even know when you say "call credit subscription" whether you mean the number of inclusive minutes in your bundle or a pre-paid credit. The latter could of course be used by things other than calls (and possibly quite quickly if you use up your allowance for data or SMS). The former should only be used by calls, but what sort of calls depends on your contract and what country you are in (most of the world only charges for calls you make, but in North America they also charge for calls you receive). I'm spelling this out to show you how many different types of contract there are, and hence why we need you to give more information than you have.

I did not make any call and I did not receive any call. But the prepaid credit was gradually removed but not at once but 485 Naira was removed within 2 hours. The service provider is mtn Nigeria and has no explanation to the credit removed. However, the data is not affected.. The error is said (at a guess to be in the phone). It is a new phone in my hand bought through jumia sometimes ago but not used till now

OK, I know nothing about Nigerian service providers, but their systems will record all calls made and so they should be able to explain why the credit has been deducted. In other words, they can tell you what calls they think were being charged, when they were made and who to, and I would tell them that if they can't explain why the credit was removed then it is presumably an error in their system and they should refund it. Don't just accept them saying "we're charging you, we don't know why but we're going to keep your money".

If they insist on being jerks and thieves, presumably there are other operators you can change to.
