I've had a second hand Nexus 5 for a few months now, it had it's screen replaced before I bought it and has been working fine.
Yesterday, the screen went rather nuts and I noticed that the bottom left corner (viewed from the front) was too hot to touch.
I'm not entirely sure which component is there that would overheat so much. It was far too hot to touch but in a very small area.
The phone screen still seems not to be working properly and that area gets too hot to touch before it's even got to asking me for my password as the phone is encrypted.
Sometimes the phone starts in slow motion.
I've had the phone apart but I'm not sure which bit would be causing the issue?
Any thoughts?
Thanks.
