I just recently got the Samsung Galaxy 3. I've had the DroidX for about 2 years now and even before then I had a Gmail account. When I synced my account with my new phone, it did add email contacts. That was fine, I just didn't show them.
I went to send a text message to a friend to let them know my number and in the recipient field, it predicatively suggested email addresses that I haven't sent emails to in AGES. I don't have any contacts in Gmail for email contacts and my inbox is entirely empty, as is my trash can and I don't archive emails. Still it was suggesting some weird emails that I only vaguely remember. I even went and checked my gmail account and made sure they weren't saved as contacts. I then cleared the cache on my gmail on my phone and unchecked syncing with my google account.
They still come up. Am I missing something? Is there a way to make them all go away? I just want to clear everything except my select contacts.
