suggesting words (texts and emails)

Hello all,

I just upgraded from a Samsung Galaxy S3 to the 6 Edge+. On my S3, both the text function and email function included suggestions/prompts of likely words as I started typing in a word or phrase. I found this feature enormously helpful. Neither the next nor email functions on the 6 Edge+ have this feature as far as I can tell. I tried to see if it might be a setting but couldn't find one. Any thoughts?

Have a look in the keyboard options under languages and input, it sounds like predictive text is turned off. I don't have an S6, so can't tell you the exact way to do it.
