Suggestion Toggle

I just want to make a suggestion that toggle between wifi and data. My problem is that I often forget to switch to wifi when I got home. What I want to suggest is that there should be a settings in android to toggle to wifi mode once the owner is home and switch to data when he is away from home.

Doesn't having wifi switched to on automatically toggle for you?

You can probably do this using Tasker. I'm not a user, so can't give you the details, but I know there are a few expert Tasker users on the forum.

You can also do this with IFTTT (IF This Then That), but it will take a bit of a learning curve as well.

there is a setting in the SMART SETTING to automatically switch on wifi mode but it is not working. also with that SMART SETTING there is a feature to automatically switch on the wifi but no feature to switch off data mode once a get home. by the way my unit is lg g6
