Super Caller ID

I'm using a program called Lookup Incoming Call, that does the trick for me.
It only gets the name of the person, but it's free.

Question...I'm a noob with caller id functions...Do any of these do any more than a normal home phone caller ID can do? For example, get the name from a call coming from a "private" number? Just curious...

No. They are useful for business (listed) and for city/state of cell phones, but if it's a private number or blocked they do not magically overcome it.

The real feature (at least for me) is that it makes it easier to add incoming callers to contacts.

I have this app and just about every number comes up as unlisted, >95%. It also laggs showing the caller id. I have an evo so it's not the phone. I used to user another caller ID app on my hero, Who Called? by XLY Labs, and it worked better then Super Caller ID.

I was wondering why Super Caller ID it rated so high and noticed that they only have 10-50k dowloads but have over 3000 ratings. This is abnormally hight rate of raitings to downloads so I assume the dev is boosting as other apps that have that number of DLs only have a few hundred reviews.

If anyone knows of a good Caller ID app please let me know. I'm still looking.
