Android Question

I always clear the stored data on the Internet application after each use. But today, a popup "super-hub.893.xyz" appears just as soon as I swipe the startup screen. (I also get popups from other sites.)

First, how did this get on my phone (Galaxy Note 4)?
Second, how do I stop this? I have anti-virus and ad blocker apps installed.

I also would like to know how I could trace something like this myself. I assume that is for the advanced student.

Here's what it is, how you get that on a pc, and how you fix it on a pc -

As for your phone -

Get Addons Detector from the Play Store, Scan, then Addons.

You should try every filter to get the hang of it, and expect nothing under Gaming, Icon Ads, or Push Notifications.

If that doesn't work, go into your app manager, All, and clear data on every Internet browser and browser substitute - that means Tapatalk, forum apps, Facebook, Twitter, and so forth.

Let me know if the problem remains.

And no, it's not an Android virus, just some nasty malware.
