You know, I actually prefer this over the original.

The SNES had better quality, but the sound chip in the Genesis produced this powerful, clear sound with a twang. I like that.

It does sound really good coming from the YM it has more of an electronic sound to it where as the SNES had a symphonic sound to it. I never really though metroid should have a symphonic sound track electro/techno kind of fit metroid better IMO.
