Root Superuser updated - Now won't grant root access

hi guys,

The other day Superuser updated from 2.3.6.1 to 3.0.6. Then updated the su binary. But then it says this:

Downloading manifest... okay
Parsing manifest...okay
Checking installed version = legacy
Fixing database...okay
Checking for busybox...okay
checking current install path.../system/bin/su
downloading new binary...okay
Checking md5sum...okay
Gaining root access...fail!
Now any app fail to gain root access when I start them. Also my apps list now says "No apps in list" in superuser as well.

Any ideas how to get root access back? :(

You can try rooting again.... Or, if it fails, backup all your data and apps and then flash gb anf then root it again.. .: )

Thanks. I don't know why but I didn't think of just running SOC again. It worked. Everything gets root access and the binary update works. Everything is peachy now, cheers:cool:

I have the same problem, i havent fixed it yet either and because of this i cant unroot my phone, any help you could give me? i rooted with gingerbreak and as you said, nothing can get root access and i cant update superuser.

UPDATE: I found out how to fix it, turns out i just needed to flash the zip su binary 3.0.3, now all is well.
