does anyone know how to stop this from reading out "you have 5 new emails"? I only installed it really to get a better voice for the navigation and dont really want to be told how many emails i have.
 
I don't believe SVOX has an option to announce emails, you must have another app that does it or it is a feature of you phone which you have initisted.

dunno really, it never did it before, then i installed svox and it started.

Uninstalled it anyway now. wasnt worth the hassle
