Swap mother boards in LG V20

Greetings.....

Just got a brand new H910. Would like to turn it into a US996.

Since I still have the US996 mother board, I've thought about swapping the H910 MB with the US996 MB.

Feasible?? I do have the wear-with-all to accomplish this easily.

Why not look for a US996 that needs a motherboard, instead of risking a new device?

Then you would have two devices, instead of one.

Used US996 are not easily found. Plus cosmetic condition is important to me. Finally, the V20 was known for screen burn after a couple of years of usage. But thanks for the suggestion, anyhow.

Keep in mind that these are devices that will be showing their age soon.

Made the swap of MB successfully. Now a a US996 again.

Now, since these devices are so similar, what was the point?

They are NOT completely similar. The H910 will not work on verizon. The US996 will work on ANYTHING.
