Swapping phones between 2 accounts?

Hello all, looking for some advice on how to complete this swap.

Line A on account 1 currently has a Droid Bionic. We just upgraded it to an M8 but it has not yet been activated.

Line A on account 2 has a galaxy note 3.

We want account 1 to have the note 3 and account 2 to have the m8.

Can we reactivate the old phone on account 1 then activate the new phone on account 2? Once that's done can we then switch account 1 to the note 3?

You can do anything you want with your phones. You can certainly switch devices between lines and accounts. I've done this many times in the past.

if you log into your verizon acct online you can easily do this.
