I'm getting ready to add a phone to my account and have a few questions...
First, I'm putting my mom on my account in about a month and plan on using an old phone I have laying around for the first month or so until the evo3d comes out, and I'd like to use the contract on her line, then give her my evo and take the evo 3d for myself. Is it possible to swap the phones around within the plan to different numbers or do they tie phones under contract to the different numbers?
She has an ancient plan and is already paying all she wants to pay (about $40 a month) but wants the ability to text and use a very little bit of data and also have a newer phone with more features. I have plenty of minutes on my plan and I'd just add her to it and take her $40 a month and it should all work out well in the end. The evo would be more phone than she would ever need but also do everything she would want to do very well after I set it up for her. It's also rooted so she would be able to tether when camping to send emails from her laptop. Rather than get her an evo and then root it for her, I'm probably going to get an evo 3d for myself anyway so if possible I'd like to kill a few birds at the same time.
What's the best way to do this?
TIA
