swiftkey keyboard doesn't properly switch to landscape

I'm having a problem with the swiftkey keyboard.
It leaves a huge white space between a split in half keyboard in landscape.

Looks like you've got it in Thumb/Split mode.

Wasn't that, it is in full.
It's only split in landscape but not portrait.

Still go to settings inside the app and make it full. I had the same problem before.

That worked.
I did it before when I was in portrait mode.
I switched it to something else and then back.
This time I did it from landscape mode and it worked.
