Swipe to call/text feature

Does anyone know how to remove the swipe to call/text feature when you are in your contacts list or in your messages list? It's getting annoying when I'm swiping on accident when I'm trying to send a message.

Also had a bunch of other random questions:
1. How do you get the phone to vibrate while the phone has the ringer on when you get a text message? I've gone through settings and that doesn't work.
2. What is the wallpaper size? I tried 720x1280 and that is too big.
3. Is there anyway to change the messaging app and keyboard to the type that the HTC EVO 3D had while running Android 2.3? I like that one way better. I tried looking at the other messaging apps but none of them are appealing to me.

Any help would be appreciated. Other than that I really like the phone.
 
Also how do I delete stock apps such as flipboard, chat on, playbooks, sprint zone. Do I have to root it?
 
1. I don't think you can remove that feature.

2. Go to settings, sound and make sure "sound and vibration" is ticked.

3. Pretty sure it is 1280x720. Are you sure the wallpaper is that size?

4. There are lots of keyboards in the play store, have you tried installing them? Not sure what keyboard that phone had but its probably in there.

5. You can't delete them but you can hide them. Go into the app drawer, press menu and tap on "hide applications."

Please assist. I was testing the calling options on the phone and some of my contacts have multiple ways of contacting (Skype, WhatsApp, Telephone Number, Mobile).
When swiping to the right a list populated the screen, giving me a choice of what option to use to contact that person (Skype, WhatsApp, Telephone Number, Mobile No) and at the bottom of the list it had a default option box that I could check.
I checked the box and choose Skype for my default.
After making the choice, whatever contact I choose to call, it opens Skype and tries to call via Skype.
I need to know how I can switch off the default option and have the list pop up giving me the option to choose again.
