swipe to unlock?

Samsung GalaxyS7 active. I was setting up my fingerprint ID on the phone, but did not enable it. now I have a swipe to unlock screen prompt on my lock screen? cannot get rid of it?been to every setting I
could, still there? never had it before?

You should keep the swipe to unlock enabled. Not having any security on your home screen usually ends in disaster.

That being said, there should be an options in your settings to disable home screen lock completely. Can you go to your lock screen settings and take screenshots? It 100% has to be in there somewhere...

Swipe to unlock also prevents accidental activities like butt dialing etc...
