I have a AT&T htc phone need to switch to tmobile what do I have to do to use the same phone?

Before you can use it with T-Mobile you have to get the phone unlocked.
If you call ATT they will usually give you the unlock code... assuming your account is in good standing.
Then you can use a T-Mobile SIM.
