Help Switched from S3 to Xperia Z3 and lost S Planner Calendar

Can I ever rescue S planner from my Galaxy S3 and transfer onto my xperia z3?

I backed up all my files onto my sd card (and I think that includes s planner) but as its a Samsung App it's not on the Z3. Is there anything I can do? I've still got S planner on my S3 and so i havent 'lost' the info but seem at a loss as to how to transfer it onto Z3.

Your help would be appreciated.

When you were saving your calendar on the S3,were you syncing it to Google? If you were you can just sync it again to any Android phone regardless of calendar app used.

If you still have the phone either sync it as chanchan suggests (unless you have already done so), or if S-Planner can export to a transferable format (e.g. ics) you could do that then import on the Z3. But Google sync is probably the simplest.

Thankyou for your replies. Very helpful. OK - I will try and explain this as best I can without confusing myself bearing in mind that I'm not an expert with these things.
I've synced the S Planner on my S2 with google and with hotmail and with a couple of other accounts but it's still not showing up on the calendar Z3.
I'm probably missing something really basic here. But I've ticked all the 'calendars to sync with boxes' on both devices.
And the only details that are showing up on the google calendar is pubic holidays. No birthdays, tasks or anything else.
Dumb question but the S3 no longer has SD card as this is in the Z3. This shouldn't make a difference should it?

If the calender app on the Z3 is similar to the calendar app on the Z1, you need to tell it to look at your Google calendar as opposed to the local calendar.

Open it, hit the Slide Out Menu on the left side of the page and make sure your Google account/calendar is checked and listed at the bottom of the menu.

Yes, done that. And it was already checked. There's only one type of calendar on the z3 and it is google calendar. Hmmmm.
