Switched to $60 plan with 5 gigs of data... Was throttled after 5 days.

This, post does not really tell us anything. How much data did you use in those 5 days? Does your online counter say you went over? do you have a counter on your phone that says you went over? You give us no facts.
 
Counter on phone says under 800mb.

Sounds like you haven't hit your due date. When you switch plans on Boost Mobile, the new plan doesn't take effect until the next billing cycle.
 
Sorry for the delay.. I signed up on May 1st, the new plan started on May 16. I was throttled on May 21. Boost says that much data was used on my end. I'm just stuck with it.
 
I just got off the phone with the Boost automated system and did the same thing. My new cycle starts on the 28th. I hope I didn't make a mistake . I will report back in a few weeks.
