Switching accounts in Google Talk?

I did a search and found some old (4-11 months old) threads but I'm hoping there's been some updates.

I just decided to give Google Talk a whirl and it looks great, but the first account I added to my phone isn't the account I primarily use (which has the majority of my contacts). Is there a way to switch accounts in Google Talk so I have all the contacts from my main account?

If not (that'd be something they need to address in a GTalk update) is there an app that will allow me to use the other?

Trillian (still in beta for Android so you have to visit Trillian - IM, Astra, Windows Live, Facebook, Twitter, Yahoo, MySpace, AIM, Email, and more! to get it) can handle all your non-GTalk IM needs, as well as GTalk with an account different from the one you registered the phone with.

Trillian, got it. So no way to swap accounts short of wiping my phone?

I suppose I should clarify, Trillian Beta is free on Android for now. Once it goes off beta and into "production" it will not be free, though it's only ~$5 for other platforms (iPhone, BB) and worth it IMO so Android should be the same. I use Trillian on my PC and plan on buying once it's available.

you can try ebuddy as well.... its free and works well on android and supports most of the IM platforms....
