Switching from Droid X to iPhone 4

How do I go about switching, but keeping my same #? Not quite sure what the best order of operations is. I got the phone from an Androidforums.com user in the classified section coming, so it's not from Verizon technically.

Simply take it into VZW and have them switch it. EZPZ...

Or do it yourself by entering the MEID or ESN number online (My Verizon) and then dialing *228 from your iphone. I think you can do the whole thing from the new phone simply by dialing *228. If you haven't entered the MEID online, you will have to punch in your phone number, give your PIN number for your account, etc.

You will also want to run back-up assistant from the web or your X before you switch. After you switch and set up your Apple account download an app called VZ Contact Transfer and it will put your contacts on the new phone.
