Switching phones, do I keep my insurance with the new phone?

All this done in the middle of the contract. I have an X now, but might get an iphone 4. Will my insurance transfer over to the iphone?

Is there any hassle changing to the iphone from a droid x, other than the normal *228 etc?

No it won't change over, the insurance is different prices. You have to activate an iPhone with iTunes also, not *228.

You can only add insurance to a newly purchased device, within 30 days. For an iPhone, it's 10.99 a month... deductible is $169 for 16gb... and it covers absolutely everything (i.e. lost, stolen damaged, extended manufacture warranty).

By newly purchased, you mean FROM Verizon though?

I would be getting this iphone from a user on this board, most likely. Not Verizon.
