Hi all,
I'm coming over to Android after 18 months of iPhoneness and I'm after a bit of advice. I'm sure most of what I ask will have been done to death before on here so you might have to humour me!
Question the first - Samsung Galaxy S or HTC Desire? Every single proper review of the two I've seen so far seems to sit on the fence so some actual user feedback would be nice. I'm leaning towards the S at the moment though. As well as these two phones, are either likely to have new/better versions released in the UK in the next few months? I don't want to sign up to one for 18 months and it be out of date instantly!
Secondly - Does the app market work like iTunes does, so I can download apps on my PC to save my mobile data usage, or does it all have be done via the phone? If so, how much data do they use up?
Thirdly - How do either of the phones work with Sat Nav? Are they built in or easy/cheap to download, and what's the deal with the free Orange one?
I think that's it for now but I'm sure I'll pester you all many more tims in this thread
