Switching to T-Mobile $100 family plan anything I should know?

Are there any hidden fees I need to know about? I plan on purchasing my own phone outside of T-Mobile and bringing it so that's not an issue. Are there are any quirks to the network that you're aware of?

if you are doing it thru walmart beware you must use walmarts family plan chip and that is $25. tmobile's chip will not work if u go thru walmart.
