Switching to Verizon - These Guyz Claim to Save you $50

Although thier facebook page is just "ok" I'm still tempted to hit them up for a Thunderbolt. They are giving an instant $50 to any new line of service and said they dont care what phone you get.

Does this sound right to anyone else? I know they are not a Direct Verizon Store, but $50 off a T-Bolt... Should I pass or go for it. They said they ship anywhere for free too.

Or get the TB from Amazon, where it's $75 cheaper, and from a more reputable dealer.

So what do you do for the 5+ days that you have a broken phone? Or is it worse and they make you pay to mail in the warranty phone, make sure it is broken then mail you a replacement phone so you spend a couple weeks or more without a phone?

I had to do this once with AT&T. Assuming Verizon does the same, they cross ship. They send you the replacement phone and a pre-paid shipping label to return the defective phone.

There are quicker shipping options but of course they are not free.

They send a refurb out next day and you ship yours back in the same box. Only take a couple of days.
Have not had much luck with the refurbs as I am on my phone #5.
