Switching to VZW, looking at the Razr

I'm DONE with T-Mo. I was looking at the Razr Maxx, but I saw some users were having GPS and camera issues...which are issues I'm experiencing on my Amaze. Are there any issues with these on the Razr? Does the camera focus well on close up shots? Does GPS lock on quickly and stay locked? Thanks.

My RAZR locks GPS faster than any Android phone I've had. And I am really impressed with my camera. Some folks don't like the camera, but I think it's great. I took some pics of the night sky a few weeks back and they were better than my Sony point and shoot.... Ymmv

based on my Moto device experience. You can't beat Moto in regards to GPS,Cellular, and Wifi radios.

As far as the camera, i hated mine on the DX. I have played with a Maxx tho and it seems much improved than the DX was.

I definitely suggest you go in the store and spend some time with one before you make the purchase. Maybe find a friend that has one as well so you can get some more in depth hands on in a real world use environment.

The razr is by far the best phone I have ever owned. I had a nexus for 3 days and brought it back and got my razr back.
I haven't had a single significant issue with my razr. Just my $.02.

yeah the razr or maxx either one is sick... I have the razr and I would love to get the maxx... ditched my iPhone and no regrets
