So who's installed the new version and what do you think? I installed it yesterday after removing the previous version...Had a few tense moments when I forgot my password to the Swype site and couldn't log into do the download...Thought I was going to be stuck without Swype until I managed to get my password reset.

So far I like the new version. It seems more responsive on my phone, although I think I'm finding more wrong words populating after swyping. The input for when you are not using swype and manually inputting letters seems better.

I'm really surprised about how long it is taking to offer this in the market place. It is an excellent application as is and worth paying for. I think they are going to make a lot of money of this app.

I am in the beta testing and recently wiped my Droid. So I tried reinstalling it last night after I heard there was an update. Did not work. Would not swype any words. Every time I tried a blue block would light up around the whole keyboard. Uninstalled and tried again with the same results. Tried one more time tonight and now it works fine. Guess three times a charm.

This is against forum rules... sorry guys. :)

The Swype apk has been requested here many times before, and the download has been linked to many times before, across multiple threads. I'm well aware of the rules, but apparently they don't apply in this situation as I find it hard to believe that it has simply been overlooked so many times.

I also tried on my DInc and it was a no go. I could type, but not swype. Really wished it could too 'cause the updates sound like the very things that turn me off about it. But overall it's still a very nice input method, especially for one hand typing.
