Swype double letters not working after shutting off phone

So... my version of swype my Droid Eris was working fine the other. All I did was shut my phone off and turn it back on and now it seems like it doesn't track my finger frequently enough to do double letters anymore... anyone else have this problem? How do I go about fixing it?
 
Try disabling Swype and selecting the regular keyboard, and then re-select Swype. I find since the OTA 2.2 upgrade that Swype stops swyping after a power off and on with my Incredible. It works again after the changing the keyboard to standard and then going back to Swype. I also uninstalled and reinstalled Swype, but it still has this issue. :cool:
