Swype

When I installed the latest version of Android on my Droid, my Swype stopped working (again!). When I re-installed it now it says I have to upgrade Swype as the trail is over. I looked on their web site, butI don't see any way of upgrading.

Is there a way around the need to upgrade or how do I get the upgrade?

The only (legal) way to get the most recent version is to download it using the Swype Installer app. If you're a member of the Swype beta you can get them to email you the installer app from here:

Swype | Text Input for Screens

But since you're asking this I'm going to assume you're not in the beta. Please be aware that telling you how/where to get swype via any other method would be against the forum rules.

I am afraid unless you can get someone to send you the installer, you're stuck without until they officially release it.

I had the beta on my EVO 4G, but when I got the Nexus One I had to go without. :(
