Swype

Does anyone have typing issues with swype? Words i try to type dont come out right. Even tryigng to type this out is a struggle. Almost like theres a lag or letters pop out next to letters i touched. Dont see any settings ssues.

Switch to the other keyboard and see if that lags otherwise I have no clue why you have trouble with Swype cause that's what I use

I had the same problem until I realized that Swype offers suggestions. Sometimes the highlighted suggestion is not what you typed but you may not have noticed. As for me, I just Swyped this whole comment as haphazardly as I could and as you can see, it's perfect. You just have to get used to it. I can't believe how accurate it is.

do any of these suggest words but not screw with the typed word ?? like a spell check. cant seem to find the combination of options. type and don't change the word but suggest on the line above it, make sense??

I believe this is what your looking for. Go into your preferences, then go to "word suggestion", then uncheck auto-correction. That will stop Swype from automatically putting in the word that it suggests and lets you type freely. I admit this feature is a pain sometimes, but I find that when I do need it's easier to have it on then not (Just my opinion). Anyway hope this helps.

You do realize you're supposed to drag your finger along the keyboard, not type individual letters, right?
