Symbol on Galaxy phone

Hi folks. Can anyone tell me what the symbol M means in the top left hand corner of the menu page on the Samsung Galaxy?

If it's the one I think you are talking about on the notification nations bar (a dark grey icon with a white M) its for your mail.

See! Now you got me intrigued! I'm guessing txwolf is correct. To find out, drag the status bar down. It should list your notifications. Let me know because I really am curious now...haha.
