Symbol to left of home

My husband accidentally lost the screen to the left of the home ..the house symbol...on his new note 5. It was Internet stories broke up into categories like news, sports, technology, entertainment etc. There is nothing else on this screen ...just these headline stories and clips and I don't know if this screen has a name or not. It was already on the phone when he purchased the new phone. Does anyone know anything about this screen or how to recover it or how to put it back on his phone?

Isn't that Flip Board? Open the app draw, see if that app is there. If so, long press it and drag it to the screen you want.

I don't know if it is flipboard. Maybe someone else can confirm that it is. Thank you.

Open your app drawer and tap the flip board app. It comes pre-installed on your phone (my daughter has it...) It should look like what you were talking about. If so, add it back to where you want it.
