Being new to the cell phone community I am a little confused as to all the symbols on the phone. Is there a place I could go that would show the symbol and provide a definition? I was looking at the Google Map app and was slightly confused. Being confused is part of my DNA.

Unfortunately, you'll have to look at multiple sources.

You can start with this, but many times the manufacturer or carrier will theme the device and there will be some variations in symbols.

Depending on your device, it may list some in settings, under "about phone".
Last 2 did, this latest doesn't, but it's only temporary.

Thank you for this list. It appears to be a daunting task. I guess over time I will know and understand those that will apply to my usage.

I'd just like to say I only use the Android Forum webpage icons across phones and PCs when posting here. Everything else just shows as numbers and symbols.
