Root symlink /data/app to sdcard. will it work?

hi,

just something i've been thinking of. can we use symlinks to put apps (and other stuff) onto the sdcard?

if so, can the same thing be done with the dalvik cache?

i'm not quite at the point where i need to do this yet.

just wondering if it'd work?
