Help Sync experiencing problems - error Sprint S3

sync experiencing problems sync internet exact problem
I have had this issue for the past few month and everywhere I look online to try to get help, they either dont work or no one know HOW to fix. Sprint says it is a Google issue but Google wont respond either. I need all my contacts in my phone backed up to Google so I dont loose any and still cant get it it to sync. Tha last sync was 8-26-12 and since then, all other areas on the Google sync work. They are last updated 9-18-12.

There's a red exclamation mark in "sync internet" saying "Sync is current experiencing problems.. Pls try again later"

How do i resolve this problem?

I am SO hoping someone has a fix for this cuz I am at my wits end trying to get it to update.

It is not rooted, no special ROMs or anything.
 
I cant believe no one else has had this issue or that no one else knows how to fix it. Im at a loss for where to go. I cant even get anyone at Google to answer me.
 
I had this because i use two factor authentication with google, and that doesnt work with all clients. What you have to do is get a one time password from your google security page. Its a text password that displays once on the screen and you type it into your phone.
 
I didn't think I had the two step authentication set up on my account. I went to my Google account on the Web and it looks like I don't have it set up since it is asking if I want to set it up. Damn. What is causing this to not update? I never had this issue with my Epic. It just started with my S3.
