Sync with Mac without Google

Hi,

Right now I'm about to buy a Motorola Milestone, but I'd like to know one thing before doing so: is it possible to sync contacts and calendar between this Android device and my MacBook without using a Google account? The thing is that I don't need Google to know who my friends are and where they can find me at any time of the day

I don't no why your worrying about it. Google isnt going to go threw your information Google sync is great don't worry about it. I dont no how they would find you either syncing your contacts and calendar isn't going to give them your location.
