Synchronising Google calendar and Huawei calendar

I have had the calendar on my mob update with Google calendar on my PC for the past year or more, but recent updates to my PC calendar are not being copied to my mobile calendar. Any ideas what may be wrong? I'm not aware of any changes to either system.

I have Huawei P20 lite running Android 9.

Was the Huawei Calendar app on your phone updated recently? Could be that Huawei has locked Google out? AFAIK all new Huawei phones don't have GMS on them.

I've looked at the stock Huawei calendar app on my Mate 10 with Android 10, and there's no option to sync the calendar data with Google in it, it only has Huawei, Exchange, or Outlook options. I use Outlook myself.

Ah, that could be it. I don't know how to check when it last updated.

Try installing and use Google Calendar instead, that should work on the Huawei.

Thanks. Yes, I was weighing up my options. I guess installing Google Calendar on my mob is going to be easier than any other option.
