Help synchronize contacts with google.

Hi
When i go to https://www.google.com/contacts/#contacts
then i saw no contacts. But on my huawei p8 lite the by settings accounts -> googel synchronize is set on.
So i do a export to a vcf file and on https://www.google.com/contacts/#contacts a import.
Why did it work automaticly.
And i have under my numbers of work six numbers and he exported 3 of six to the vcf file ?

Are your huawei contacts stored on your sim or phone only? But not google account?
Sounds like you exported the .vcf from phone/sim then imported it to google manually.
If you store your contacts in google and sync is on, should all be good.
I've had that in the past with a large phone book that some contact info doesn't attach completely, fully or accurately from 1 format to another ie android to google
