System update 1,800mg????

so i am on virgin mobile..and got the alert for the update. why in the **** is it 1800mb???? is that an error? why is it so much? i'd have to delete pretty much everything for it to DL. anyone elses that much? ty.

1800MB or 1.8GB does sound rather large for a firmware update download. I've never had one over 1GB. But on the other hand if this a carrier version customized Samsung, something I've never had myself, it might be heavily bloated, and so will have to free the space for the download update file.

Mine was under 480 gig if I remember correctly. Are you on Lolipop now or Kit Kat?
So far my only complaint is the batter life is dismal now. I cleared the cache and it helped a bit, looks like I need to do a factory reset...
