Help System Update - Virgin Mobile ?

I'm on Virgin Mobile, and this AM I received a request to update my phone. I'm currently on 4.1.2. Anybody else get this update ??

Update says "Android System Update" This software includes new enhancements for your Samsung G SIII. Please insure your battery is fully charged before you continue. This update Requires a Reboot and your device will be unavailable during reboot and installtion. If available connect to WIFI NOW !

I'm on Verizon, and my phone is on 4.1.2. This morning I got a notice regarding a 'Samsung Update', which I ok'd but it did not include the wording you describe, nor did it require a reboot. It flickered a few times, the bar moved fast, then it was business as usual.

I received the update early this morning and pushed it through. Did not have a size, Just said Android has an Update...After about 4 reboots, and 123 "App Optimizations", The update ran it's course and the phone was fine...VM S3 Units already come with 4.1.2 and that is what is still is after the update...I'd sure like to know what an App Optimization is...Maybe I'll get 4 days worth on my battery now...:rofl:

I got the same message and update from VM. Not sure what actually updated as the phone is still at 4.1.2
