Just saw that their 4g coverage is in my area so i may switch to them from virgin mobile.is the unlimited 4g data plan that's $70 a month also unthrottled or do they throttle you past a certain amount?

It is if you pay extra for it.If I recall correctly, this plan has no throttling, but no tethering is allowed.
I don't need tethering so that's not a problem. What would be a good phone to get with the 4gplan?
You can't pay extra for tethering, since this doesn't bother you then great. You will never be throttled so feel free to go to sleep with Pandora blasting out whatever. Also I may be biased but the nexus ⁴ is objectively a sick phone that is the ultimate T-Mobile 4G phone since it supports both "HPSA42-4G" and "LTE-4G"
There is no reason to pay extra for anything else in my opinion.
Agree with the Nexus 4, it is an extremely nice phone for $300 or $350. Just note that it technically does not have LTE (it is not licensed for LTE), just that if you root with the right radio drivers the LTE works.
isn't that illegal though if its unlicensed by the FCC to operate on LTE airwaves?
That phonelooks nice but iam not loooking to be spending $300 and up for a cellphone. What would be best with t-mobile in the $100-200 range?

Thanks i was looking at that phone too.Hopefully can buy it with in the net month or 2.
Rules are always ment to be broken. :smokingsomb:
I don't know the answer to that. Under Android 4.2 the LTE radio worked. Google "fixed" the radio, to not work, with the 4.2.2 update. People who install custom ROMs are reinstalling the older radio driver to make the LTE work, which likely muddies the water even more, since they are technically using a radio driver provided by Google/LG.
You own the hardware. You might not own the software.Sorry but ever since the first sale doctrine was upheld by the Supreme Court I'm pretty sure once I buy something I OWN IT, therefore I will do as I please.
