I purchased 2 smart phones and 1 flip phone through Wirefly at the beginning of November. There is a fairly solid rumor that t-mobile will start imposing a roaming data cap starting in April with a notice in February. As I travel for work and use data quite regularly through roaming this cap will have an impact to myself. From what I understand I have 14 days to notify them that I no longer want to continue with my contract due to a materially adverse change and will not be changed an ETF
Now here is the problem. I signed with Wirefly and have to keep my contract for at least 6 months or I could be change $400 per smart phone. My question is if this still hold true in this situation because my carrier is making an adverse change.
Is there a way that I could not accept the change and T-mobile would allow me to keep service for the 6 months and then cancel without and ETF? Any other ideas? Any insight into this would be appreciated.
Thanks!
