Help T-Mobile Device unlock

I have a s6 edge that I brought it off of craigslist and it says its permanently unlocked. Does that mean if someone lied to me and didn't pay or reported it lost that it will stop the unlock or I could keep using it?

If someone reports it lost, they need to have full ownership and proof of ownership of the device and/or the account the device is linked to. Since the S6 Edge is SIM card linked, without the sim card, T-Mobile can't really lock the device unless the seller were to give T-Mobile the IMEI number, which they then could permanently blacklist the phone until the seller brings the device to a T-Mobile store to get it restored.

Basically, Fully unlocked means you can use any GSM Carrier with it, if you have the correct SIM card.
