Help T-mobile G2 bluetooth issue

Hi

I'm interested in a t-mobile G2, however when I asked if I could use it as a modem connected via bluetooth with my macbook pro I was told I couldnt.I use a c902 currently as a modem connected via bluetooth to my mac and it works fine. Does anyone know of any new os updates that will include a) connectivity to laptops via bluetooth and b) whether it will be able to be used as a modem.

Neil,

to my knowledge so far, the only service supported is "Audio" which allows you to connect to wireless headphones.
Connecting your phone with cable delivered with the package you are able to use the phone as modem.
Follow instructions described in extended manual (just by opening the PDF View app).
