T mobile g2 update - help

Right then, I'm pretty lost here.

Trying to update the firmware on my phone, downloaded the update from HTC and done the thing and it has cleared my phone and nothing else.

I'm still on version 1.5.

build num - 2.73.11.26 CL.........

Have I downloaded the wrong thing? Please help?

I want to play on google nav.

That is the latest official build. Yes it's still 1.5 but you should have noticed the build number went from 1.76 to 2.73

Android 2.1 will be with us sometime in June so you'll have to wait a bit longer to used google nav unless you install an unofficial ROM such as those in the "All Things Root - Hero" section on this forum.

I'm not going to risk bricking my phone so will wait for the official 2.1 rom to appear.
