T-mobile is eating up other carriers!

I want enough customers come over to make them much more relevant and give them the capital needed to expand their network coverage, but not enough to enable them to start enacting draconian policies like AT&T or Verizon.

I see.

I know Tmobile has been a good pricing leader.

Just like AirTran/Southwest has been a good pricing leader. Usually Delta follow 1-2 days with the same sale they are doing.

So we need to strike a balance.

Lets hope Tmo gets better.

Before Legere came tmobile wasn't even an option for me as the old management's only plan was selling off to AT&T they put nothing into backing their challenger strategy but with UnCarrier I don't see myself switching to anyone else without any of the competition changing anything up

I'm sticking w/Tmobile for a while. I have the best prepaid plan for my needs. i have wasted far too much money on other carriers.

Time will tell if they can retain customers.

T-Mobiles network is spotty and their spectrum is inferior,
The inability to make a call when desired may turn many of these new customers off to t-mobile.

We'll have to see what happens next summer when the 600MHz spectrum gets auctioned off. Winning a good chunk of that with an aggressive rollout of it could change everything.

I think DT should give us a cash infusion for the auction, that would allow them to get a real ROI and increase the value of the stock they own almost 3/4ths of.

The 700MHz auction Verizon and ATT spent around $10BN each

I feel Tmo is getting better n better. I do not see any spotty coverage in Atlanta, Macon and in Houston. I see LTE more often but 4G is always there.

Verizon shine on the nation highway with 4G coverage! This is where you can check: Coverage Maps | Sensorly

In utah their coverage is very spotty.
While at my Sisters house I could have 4g then 2g because I moved a few inches.
Also, TuneIn on T-Mobiles 4g was worse than Virgin Mobiles throttled 3g.
I've heard people in my state complaining about bad coverage.
As of 2012 Utah had 2.855 million residents,
That is a good chunk of change that T-Mobile certainly should not ignore.

I'm curious where in Utah? From what I know, T-Mobile does fairly well along the Wasatch Front, though it does drop off once you get north of Ogden or south of Provo. I've also heard reports about the St.George area being fairly well covered now. Granted, the rest of the state is poor coverage (roaming), and like all Rocky Mountain states, the mountains cause issues for all the carriers.

My personal experience in Utah has been good (though I was only there for a week) and those that I have heard from are pretty happy with the coverage.
