thats not really a very good response from t-mobile.
so effectively, if i go abroad (which will be happening in 2 months time), i will have to uninstall most data apps, and then flick the switch on data roaming.

i think an update to the o/s will have to be being worked on as this is not really an acceptable solution, this is probably more of an oversight than anything else.
