Help (T-Mobile) Swype on the GS3?

It does not come with the phone. You can get the Swype beta here. Just use your SIII browser . You have to create a beta account (free) and then download the installer to your phone. Open the installer and it will load Swype. You will have to follow 2 steps to activate and use Swype, but the installer will walk you thru it. Enjoy!

BTW - Early on, there were issues with the SIII and Swype beta, but I installed it yesterday on my Verizon SIII with NO PROBLEMS.

What comes with the phone is not actual Swype BUT similar to it, to get that working do the following;

Settings > Language and input > hit the settings beside Samsung Keyboard > check the box beside Continuous input (that can only be done if the Predictive text slider is on)

I prefer the actual Swype keyboard, just go on their website and register to download the installer

I never even tried their Swypish keyboard. The beta was one of the first things I did yesterday. Why setting when you can have the original. Swype on a 10" tablet (TF101) is great too!

IMO Swype is much better than what was included with my S3 (Verizon). I played with that for a few hours, then got frustrated. Swype is much smoother. I got it the way it's already been described here.

I'm glad I ran into this thread... I was already sick of the stock sammy texting method. I installed Swype beta and it brought back a smile to my face :)
