T-Mobile text messages?

Bought my S3 for tmobile couple weeks ago. I keep getting all these stupid automated texts from "free tmobile message"

is there a way to turn this garbage off?

I've never gotten any such texts. Call 611 and see what they can do.

You may be able to get the texts to stop by logging into your account at https://my.t-mobile.com/profile/CommunicationPreference.aspx?unavid=compreferences

My luck seems to have been rather hit or miss though.
