T-Mobile, time zones and DST?

I have the date/time settings on my Cliq set to Automatic, and although the time seems to have automatically changed when DST kicked in, the time zone stayed at Eastern Std Time.

One side effect of this was that all of my calendar appointments show up an hour earlier than they're supposed to.

If I put the date/time on manual and change to EDT, everything is fine.

Is there something about T-mobile's time service that doesn't set the time zone properly? is there something else I'm missing?

Mine updated just fine and correctly at 2 a.m. (as opposed to my friggin' watch that changed at midnight).

it's taken a couple of days but now my Cliq finally has the right time and is in the right time zone.
